Palisades Fire and Franklin Fire
In December 2024, Malibu experienced the devastating Franklin Fire that burned through our neighborhoods. A month later, in January 2025, the City fell victim to the Palisades Fire, one of the most destructive and deadly fires in California history. However, this resilient community has already begun to take strides toward rebuilding and City staff are committed to supporting residents every step of the way. The Malibu Rebuilds site is here to offer essential information and guidance as residents rebuild their homes and work together to restore our community.
