The City of Malibu hired a third-party consultant, Witt O’ Brien’s LLC to conduct an After-Action Review (AAR) of the City’s emergency response to the Franklin and Palisades Fires. The After-Action Review will assess strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvements to the City’s emergency response to guide future planning, training, and operations. Community members are invited to share their feedback on emergency notifications, evacuation and repopulation processes.
