Building Professionals are invited to a Rebuild Geotechnical Workshop on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM. The event will be held at City Hall Council Chambers.

The purpose is to collaborate with the professional community to enhance the review process and support families during the rebuild process. This meeting is intended exclusively for licensed, practicing geotechnical and geological professionals. No RSVP is necessary.

Purpose of the Follow-Up Workshop
This session will focus on:

• Reviewing key themes, concerns, and recommendations raised during the previous workshop
• Discussing refinements and clarifications incorporated into the updated Fire Rebuild Geotechnical Guidelines
• Providing an opportunity for continued dialogue with City staff and our geotechnical review consultants
• Aligning expectations to support consistent, timely, and technically sound geotechnical reviews for rebuild projects
